EDC Contest Entry #16 WPW

Hey Folks, I am pleased to bring another entry for our EDC Contest. First we will quickly recap what is going on. The broad strokes are this. I want to share and discuss the stuff we carry around every day AKA EDC. Taking pictures of our stuff and talking about it is my goal.

The prizes will be as follows:
1st Place: 3 Sport Berkey Water Bottles donated by LPC Survival ($69 value)
2nd Place: 1 Blackhawk Holster donated by LuckyGunner.com ($50 value)
3rd Place:  1 Snare-Vival-Trap cough garote cough donated by Camping Survival ($17 value)

Wildcard: This one goes to whoever I want to give it to for whatever reason I feel like. It will be a grab bag donated by yours truly. The exact makeup is TBD depending on what I have lying around  and may include books, gear, medical stuff or even a couple silver dimes. ($30+  value)

Check out the details and my example post here.

I work in an office environment, so this is pretty minimal, but I carry this with me daily whether I am at the office, going to the store, at church etc.
A brief rundown of things that have impressed me the most.
KelTec PF-9.  Even though on the low end of the spectrum of cost, from my experience, certainly not on the low end of reliability and durability.  It is not a range gun, meaning that I don’t enjoy taking it to the range for hundreds of rounds.  But out of the hundred that I have put through it, it has been reliable, consistent and combat accurate.  Nothing else that I expect out of a $200 EDC firearm.
Leatherman Wave.  What is to say here?  It is my constant companion even when I am just putting around the house.  I can’t count the number of times I reach for it in a given week.  It has just the tools that I want on it, and nothing else.
Zebra H31.  WOW, WHAT A LIGHT!  One of the smallest CR123 lights that I have ever seen, in fact, they won’t be able to make them much smaller because it is just slightly larger than the battery itself.  It is easy to slip in a pocket, but still has a reflector to give a very decent throw. The 3 brightness settings and the 3 alternative settings are easy to access, and work well.  It goes for a very faint map light, to a “reach out and touch someone” spot light in just a click.  Very nice light!
CRKT Minimalist.  I have the full gamut of the Minimalist line.  I am fond of the Tanto, the Wharncliffe is odd, but still a great knife, but for the quick access box opener/letter opener/etc, I prefer the small Bowie.  I keep it razor sharp and it’s at home around my neck at all times.
