Blog Direction

All, I have been doing some thinking about the direction of the blog. Seems like it's in a bit of a rut and I'm kind of bored of going through the usual motions. So it is time to shake things up. Figured I would solicit your thoughts.

What content is boring you and could be decreased or even eliminated?

What content would you like to see more of?

What entirely new stuff would you like to see?

What sort of outside the box ideas do you think would work well here?

What do you think would attract new readers?

Thanks in advance

Well I write some stuff occasionally, and I like your site.

Unpretentious, and covering a lot of different stuff. Any survivalist type needs lots of different perspectives, like it or not.

No negatives, but on the wish list... small scale, portable.ish, recharging systems. I love the 'show me your gear' stuff.

We are in uncertain and unprecedented times, we can't go wrong with water, food, shelter, and security ideas. Maybe a Victory Garden Blogspot Showdown. Best ideas get bragging rights.

I stop by daily(or 2,3 times) and have never been bored with any post. I think most of us find that if it interests you it interests us also. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Big fan of the blog for many years bro, it's always been a daily read..maybe you could articles about a specific situation or event, and how you and your family would react to it, with what gear etc, then let people chime in on what they'd do if they'd encountered x y and z. Either way hope you keep up writing for the site.

I really enjoy the site and your perspective on things. If I could want anything different it would just be more of it. Yes, there are some articles that I can't totally relate with just because we are in different places as far as backgrounds and experiences but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy reading them anyway. Just make sure you still enjoy what you do. If it ever gets to be too much like work, then it might be time to make a change. You gotta take care of you and yours first. Four walls and all that stuff.

Pineslayer, I can do that.

Joshua, Tell you what. Throw some scenarios at me and I'll (probably) write about them.

When in doubt, be a military blogger. I figure being where you are you should get interesting stories to share on about a monthly basis.

I really like the variety: family stuff, gear stuff, plans, goals...

Maybe you could throw in a short story once a month.
