Pocket carry handguns and knife placement

So I carry the Ruger LCP a lot. It goes in a Safariland model 25 pocket holster. I do not out other things in this pocket. So where does my knife go? I have been trying the back pocket but it is just not working. Don't really have an answer. Currently questioning everything in my setup. Anyway before acting on that I wondered.to my pocket carrying peeps, where does your knife go?

Appendix IWB?

I carry my lcp at 3:30 roughly, IWB. Knife is right front pocket. Wallet is in the left side.

I don't mind rear pocket knife carry, as long as it's opposite side of the wallet.just my 2 cents.

Like virtually every other person I meet, my knife is clipped to the inside of my right front pocket. Since I usually carry my G19 on a hip holster it doesnt cause problems. If Im carrying my S&W 640 in my pocket, then I'll move the pocket knife to my left front pocket.

Glock 23 on right hip, knife in my left front. I had to "train" my left hand to use it. The left buys me time to use my right.

Pistol in left front pocket. Keys, knife in right front. As a right handed person, if I am blocking something, opening something, shaking hands, etc. I use my right. My left is free to draw and shoot. If space and time permits, I draw with my left and hold the pistol in my right for better aiming.

I'm normally a left pocket carry but have recently changed due to how often I carry the LCP. I wear Blackhawk or Kuhl pants most of the time so my pockets are rather large. If I'm carrying the LCP as primary, it's right pocket. Knife goes right rear, wallet left rear, keys left, Multitool mag pocket left, phone right mag pocket.

Drawbacks: sitting, especially in a vehicle with a seat belt makes a clean draw impossible. Best have a designated car gun. Sitting at a table, especially a booth is also very problematic.

I'm left handed, but right eye dominant. I also can use my right hand very well. When pocket carrying my keltec P11 I move by knife to the left front. If I put a pistol in a leg cargo pocket the knife stays in the right front. Now that it is jacket and soon full blown coat weather here I will be able to move the pistols to a coat pocket where they are more comfortable and even easier to put to use.

I am right handed...

LCR in right pocket in soft Deantis holster... If I suspect danger, I stand / walk with hand in pocket...

Spyderco Endura in right rear pocket for serious cutting tool and/or defense...

Karambit folder w/Emerson wave in center-line of body inside pants with blade opening to the left - for emergency self defense, choke hold escape, etc. I never take it out in public and never use if as a tool. If I take it out with my Right hand I put the index finger in the hole and after draw/opening I flip/rotate into my hand with the blade pointing forward at the bottom of the right hand. If I take it out with my Left hand, the pinkie goes in the hole and after draw/opening my hand grips with blade pointing forward at the top of the left hand.

Taurus TCP in right front pocket. Spyderco Tenacious in right rear pocket but tucked to far right. What pocke t knife do you have? Is it too big? Are you getting sore there? Why doesn't it "work"?

I carry in my opposite pocket. If I have to defend myself while secureing my weapon, I have my knife as a weapon.

As a leftie, when pocket carrying, I carry my S&W 638 in my left front pocket. I carry my badge in the bottom of my right front pocket, and a knife and flashlight clipped to my right front pocket. Wallet and credentials go in left rear pocket, and cell phone goes in right rear. Keys clip to belt.

Anything that I pick up throughout the day goes in the right front pocket until I get back to my car, where it gets dumped on the passenger seat.

Basically, 8 have trained myself to use a pocket knife right handed. This is ideal for a lefty, but not as great for a righty. Try finding a pocket knife in a big box store with the pocket clip oriented for lefty, one handed opening use. And if you can move the clip around, chances are you will need tiny-ass star-head bits, that no one makes.

If you do decide to carry your knife on your off (left) side, use a good knife, that you can actually change the carry clip on, so that it works with left-hand use.

All, thanks for the input. I am going to try/ or now that I think about it try again, carrying it on the weak side. I have a few knives to choose from that allow this.

DL, since we have similar setups I especially appreciate your input.

lcr front right pocket, benchmade clipped in same pocket when it fits, if not right rear. right handed mostly. instead of buying another hi-cap compact i'm going to add my kahr e9 to the current lcr pocket carry. i believe they call that a new york reload?

LCP in right front pocket holster and Cold Steel push knife on hip. Left front pocket are extra mags. and or small Spyderco knife. Sometimes small revolver in rear pocket or folder. Front of pants is also a new position. Depends on the circumstances what and where the concealed carry is.
